OK Folks, here is the Plan as it stands right now, Sept 8, 2008.

I am currently cycling 5-6 days a week, about 6-10 miles a day and doing calisthenics (jumping jacks, push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, etc) to get my general cardio fitness level up before hitting P90X on Oct 1st, 2008. Two days later, Oct 3rd, I will turn 43 years old. What better present to give myself than a new fit body and new healthy eating habits! That is exactly 22 days from now. One other reason for this is that I haven’t been able to order my P90X DVD’s yet!! (A new payday is coming Friday!)

I actually have been working on the P90X fitness test (See it HERE) to get ready for P90X. I HIGHLY recommend you follow the fitness test as a guide to making sure you are physically able to do the P90X program. Not everyone can do an extreme fitness program like P90X right out of the box. Could Michael Phelps swim in the Olympics the first day he tried? NO. It takes a certain level of fitness and mindset to jump into an extremely challenging program like P90X.  TRUST ME, even fit people have to adjust to the P90X routines. If you cannot pass the Fit Test, stop and consider doing Power 90. You will get great results and you can come back and CRUSH P90X later.  P90X is NOT a beginner fitness program. Not to scare you but just give you a realistic expectation to start off on. I would rather see you go through Power 90 and then P90X and get awesome results that try and muddle through P90X and find it too hard and just quit. That would do you no good.

That being said, if you CAN pass the fit test or you are a hardcore maniac (ha-ha) who cannot be discouraged from jumping into things with both feet, I take my hat off to you and say “Press play everyday” and “Just BRING IT!”  Don’t give up! I am here for you as your Beachbody coach for you.  Please contact me and we will get you started on your road to Maximum Fitness! You CAN DO IT!

I will be posting progress reports as my ”X” start day approaches and then will have starting photos and stats to share as my journey progresses.

Get your body in shape for long life and better health!
